About The Role The SAS AML Data Analyst / Tester at Dautom will play a critical role in the migration of the SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) platform from SAS AML 7.1 to SAS Viya 4. This position involves detailed planning, execution, and documentation of testing activities to ensure a seamless transition that maintains the integrity, functionality, and compliance of the AML system. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to validate that all AML scenarios, detection rules, workflows, and system integrations operate correctly post-migration.

The role demands a meticulous approach to testing, data validation, and defect management to support the organization’s compliance and operational objectives.

Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in software testing, preferably within banking or financial services sectors.

Hands-on experience testing SAS AML solutions, including transaction monitoring and alert generation.





Proven experience participating in application migration or upgrade projects, with a focus on AML platforms.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and quality assurance processes.

Proficiency in SQL and basic data analysis techniques for validation and reconciliation tasks.

Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of banking AML processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards is highly desirable.

Responsibilities Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts aligned with the migration project scope and objectives.

Execute various testing types including functional, system integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Validate that all AML scenarios, business rules, detection workflows, and configurations function as expected in SAS Viya 4.

Ensure newly configured AML scenarios produce accurate alerts, outputs, and case creation results.

Perform detailed comparison testing between SAS AML 7.1 and SAS Viya 4 to confirm functional equivalence where applicable.

Conduct end-to-end testing of AML processes, including data ingestion, scenario execution, alert generation, and reporting.

Identify, document, and track defects,



collaborating with technical teams and vendors to facilitate timely resolutions.

Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure migration accuracy and data integrity.

Support business users during UAT by preparing test data, executing scenarios, and resolving issues encountered during testing.

Re-test defect fixes and perform regression testing to confirm stability and functionality of the system.

Prepare detailed test execution reports, defect summaries, and status updates for project stakeholders.

Ensure all testing activities adhere to Dautom’s quality standards, regulatory compliance, and project governance policies.
