About the Role

We are seeking a Data Access Governance Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on data governance, identity and access management (IAM), data security, role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), data privacy, enterprise compliance, and AI-generated technical content evaluation.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated data governance architectures, access control frameworks, identity management workflows, security policies, compliance documentation, and enterprise data protection strategies. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for secure data access, regulatory compliance, and enterprise data governance.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in data governance, identity and access management, cybersecurity, cloud security, data security engineering, or enterprise compliance.

Responsibilities

Review AI-generated access governance frameworks, identity architectures, data security policies, governance workflows, audit controls, and technical documentation.

Evaluate enterprise environments involving cloud platforms, databases, data lakes, analytics platforms, and AI/ML data pipelines.

Verify AI-generated recommendations for least privilege, privileged access management,



identity lifecycle management, segregation of duties, data masking, encryption, and audit logging.

Assess AI-generated governance solutions for security, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and enterprise readiness.

Identify access control weaknesses, permission misconfigurations, compliance gaps, governance risks, and security vulnerabilities.

Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in enterprise data governance, identity management, and access control.

Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

2+ years of hands-on experience in data governance, identity and access management, cybersecurity, cloud security, data security engineering, or enterprise governance.

Designing and implementing enterprise access governance frameworks.

Managing user identities, permissions, and role-based access models.

Implementing data classification, access policies, and audit controls.

Reviewing AI-generated governance documentation and security recommendations.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), SQL databases, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Hadoop, or enterprise data lakes is preferred.

Knowledge of regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA,



ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, and CIS Controls.

Excellent analytical thinking, risk assessment, documentation, and written English communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate enterprise security and governance solutions.

Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced workplace.

Preferred

Qualifications

Experience working with enterprise organizations, financial institutions, healthcare providers, cloud service providers, consulting firms, SaaS companies, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs).

Experience implementing enterprise IAM, data governance programs, privileged access management, data loss prevention (DLP), or compliance automation.

Experience evaluating AI-generated security architectures, governance documentation, access policies, compliance frameworks, or identity management workflows.

Familiarity with Generative AI, AI governance, AI benchmarking, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), secure AI systems, or enterprise AI governance is highly desirable.

or equivalent security and governance certifications are advantageous.
