About the Role
Pinaca Technologies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dark Web & Cryptocurrency Intelligence Analyst to join our Digital Intelligence team. The selected candidate will support intelligence and cyber investigation projects by conducting authorised research on dark web sources, blockchain transactions, cryptocurrency ecosystems, and publicly available information.
The role involves identifying cyber threats, fraud patterns, illicit activities, and digital assets while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and organisational policies.
Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and an interest in cyber intelligence, blockchain analytics, and digital investigations are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct authorised Dark Web intelligence (DWEBINT) research and monitoring.
- Perform blockchain and cryptocurrency transaction analysis.
- Monitor cryptocurrency wallets, transactions, and digital asset movements.
- Identify cyber threats, fraud, scams, ransomware activities, and illicit marketplaces.
- Conduct Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigations to support cyber investigations.
- Analyse data from public blockchain explorers and intelligence platforms.
- Prepare intelligence reports, threat assessments, and investigative summaries.
- Research emerging trends in cryptocurrency-enabled crime.
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with intelligence and cyber security teams on investigation support activities.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset.
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
- Knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major cryptocurrencies.
- Familiarity with cyber security concepts.
- Strong internet research and OSINT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Freshers with internships, projects, or certifications in Cyber Security, Blockchain, or Digital Intelligence are encouraged to apply.

- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified in Cybersecurity (CC – ISC2)
- Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI)
- Certified Blockchain Security Skilled (CBSP)
