Role Summary :

The Idira / CyberArk Privilege Cloud Engineer is responsible for the technical configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the Fully Managed PAM service across client environments.

This role supports the implementation and operation of Privilege Cloud capabilities, including safe design, platform configuration, CPM password management, PSM and PSMP session access, account onboarding, connector support, privileged account remediation, integrations, API-based automation, operational reporting, and escalation support.

The Engineer is expected to have a solid general IT and infrastructure foundation.

Privilege Cloud operations depend on understanding how enterprise systems work, including Active Directory, Windows and Linux servers, service accounts, network connectivity, DNS, firewall rules, databases, cloud platforms, ticketing processes, and access control models.

The Engineer must be able to troubleshoot across the PAM platform, the customer connector layer, and target systems.

Where the PAM Analyst monitors, validates, and escalates, the PAM Engineer configures, remediates, automates,



and improves the service.

This role ensures the managed PAM service remains technically sound, scalable, secure, and audit-ready.

Required skills include :

- Awareness of cloud privileged access patterns across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Understanding of temporary cloud access and just-in-time cloud access.
- Understanding of cloud role assignment and privilege elevation concepts.
- Ability to support operational triage for cloud access issues.
- Ability to coordinate with cloud platform teams for access validation.
- Awareness of cloud identity risks, standing privilege, and excessive permissions.
- Ability to collect evidence for cloud privileged access reviews.
- Ability to support reporting on cloud privileged access usage.

CyberArk Identity, MFA, and SSO Awareness :

- Working knowledge of CyberArk Identity capabilities as they relate to Privilege Cloud and broader PAM operations.
- The Engineer should understand how authentication, MFA, SSO, directory integration, conditional access, and identity provider configuration can impact privileged access.
- The Engineer should understand how external administrators, vendors, contractors, and support partners may require controlled access into client environments without broad VPN access or unmanaged credentials.

Required Certifications :

- CyberArk / Idira Sentry CyberArk Privilege Cloud.
