The Global Voice
India
The Global Voice is an independent geopolitics media house. We report on the forces reshaping the world, including conflict, diplomacy, economy, and power, from an Indian point of view rather than a borrowed one, a perspective largely missing from global coverage that defaults to the West. We are committed to challenging established narratives and questioning convenient truths.
The Global
Voice aims to highlight underrepresented viewpoints and bring forward the side of the story that rarely makes the front page. We need someone who can write and run our social presence well enough to make a geopolitics brand go viral. If you're already deep in current affairs and you know how to turn a complex idea into a hook someone can't scroll past, we want to hear from you.
THE ROLE This is an in-office copywriting and social media strategy role based out of Goa. You write the copy, you run the platform strategy, you track what works, and you go again. The goal isn't one viral moment.
It's an audience that comes back because your content is consistently better than anything else in this space. You won't be shooting or editing video yourself, we have a video editor for that. Your job is the words, the strategy, and the numbers behind them.
SALARY: 3.6LPA
IMMEDIATE JOINING IN GOA WHAT YOU WILL DO Write copy for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube: captions, hooks, thread openers, carousel scripts, reel scripts, comment strategy
Write scripts and shot briefs for our video editor, so every video starts with a sharp idea and a clear hook
Build a content strategy for each platform based on how it actually works right now, not two years ago
Turn geopolitics, history, and the Indian perspective into content that educates, provokes, and gets shared by people who've never heard of us
Handle social SEO. Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn all run on search, and your content needs to show up in it
Track performance daily: growth, reach, saves, shares, watch time, click-through. Report what's working and change what isn't
Catch trends early. A trending format has a shelf life of days, and you need to adapt it to TGV before it dies
Run comment strategy and community engagement so the brand's voice shows up in the replies, not just the posts WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proof of work. Actual posts, captions, and threads you've written, the platforms they ran on, and the numbers they pulled. Not a portfolio deck.
Copy that performs. A hook that stops a scroll in under five words. A caption people save. A thread opener that gets the whole thing read.
Genuine interest in geopolitics, history, and the Indian perspective. You already follow this world. This isn't something you're learning on the job.
An understanding of what works on Instagram versus LinkedIn versus X, and the instinct to write differently for each.
Applied social SEO knowledge,
not the surface-level version.
AI fluency. You use AI to write faster, brainstorm hooks, repurpose content, and spot trends, and you know when the output is actually positive.
Data literacy. You read your own analytics and use them to make decisions, not to fill out a monthly report nobody reads.
Speed. You ship fast and iterate faster.
WHO WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR
People who schedule content and call it strategy
People who generate captions with AI and post them without a second look
People who check analytics once a month
People who are getting into geopolitics. We need people who are already in it. 30 DAYS IN
Every platform has a calendar running, and content is going out daily without you having to be chased for it. You've found the two or three formats that actually fit TGV's voice and dropped the ones that don't. At least one post has outperformed everything else you've put up, and you know exactly why. Captions are getting saved, threads are getting finished, and the copy sounds like us, not like a template. 60 DAYS IN
Two platforms are growing every single week, not in spurts. At least one piece of content from what we post every week has traveled outside our existing audience and brought new people in on its own. We are showing up in Instagram, YouTube, or LinkedIn search for terms that matter to us. You've killed the formats that didn't work and doubled down on the ones that did, and you can point to the data that made that call. Someone scrolling past a TGV post now recognizes it before they see the name.
