Content Writer (Cricket)

Cricket with Forza is a cricket media company with a straightforward goal: dominate the non-live cricket content space in India through original shows, in-depth analysis, personality-driven podcasts, travel vlogs, and behind-the-scenes content that keeps fans engaged 365 days a year, long after the final ball has been bowled. We're building across YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, and Spotify, with a roster of owned content IPs anchored by real cricket personalities: players, commentators, and creators.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Content Writer with strong editorial judgment and cricket/ sports awareness to shape content across scripts, captions, titles, descriptions, show notes, and social copy. You will ensure clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistency across everything that gets published.

Key Responsibilities

- Editorial & Copy
- Edit and refine scripts, outlines, and episode structures for clarity, pace, and flow.
- Write/ edit platform copy: captions, hooks, titles, descriptions, show notes, and community posts.
- Ensure voice consistency across shows, formats, and platforms.
- Accuracy & Quality Control
- Fact-check names, match references, stats, and timelines as required.
- Maintain editorial standards: grammar, clarity, tone, and brand alignment.




- Flag potential compliance/ platform risks (copyright, sensitive claims, misinformation).
- Repurposing & Story Support
- Identify strong moments/ quotes for short-form or carousel/ story adaptations.
- Work with producers/ editors to sharpen hooks, opening lines, and on-screen text.
- Workflow & Coordination
- Manage drafts, versioning, and approvals across stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the social team to align copy with publishing schedules.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years in editorial, digital media, copywriting, or content production.
- Strong writing + editing skills, with an internet-native sense of tone.
- High attention to detail and ability to work fast under deadlines.
- Comfortable working across multiple formats (scripts + short captions + titles)

Positive to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Experience writing for sports pages or digital video and social-first brands (YouTube, podcast, or multi-platform)
- Understanding of SEO and discoverability best practices across video and social platforms (titles, descriptions, hashtags, and platform-specific metadata)
- Experience working with creators/hosts and fast-turn news cycles
