: Content Indexing & Abstracting Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing and indexing scientific research articles to improve discoverability and retrieval. The role involves assigning standardized metadata, creating and reviewing abstracts, and ensuring accurate classification of research content in accordance with established indexing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Classify, index, and abstract research articles to enhance information retrieval.
- Assign accurate keywords, thesaurus terms, and classification codes for effective subject indexing.
- Analyze articles to identify key topics, study design, methodologies, participant groups, and other relevant metadata.
- Create, edit, and review article abstracts based on source content.
- Verify and assign standardized Check Tags,



including document type, methodology, population, age groups, supplemental materials, and geographic location.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of indexing and metadata while adhering to editorial guidelines.
