Kisaanu runs model farms, orchards, bio-input production and community plantation programmes in Amethi, with a research collaboration in Finland. THE ROLE

We are empanelling a Consultant Advisor we can call on, as and when required, for full-day engagements: workshops, consulting sessions, advisory reviews or training delivery. Physical or virtual. No minimum commitment.

Two areas: 1. CAPITAL. Non-dilutive funding across NABARD, the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, NHB and MIDH, CGTMSE-backed credit and FPO-linked routes.

- CAPABILITY. Training our agriculture graduates and apprentices in farm economics and scheme literacy, so every field associate can advise a farmer on the credit and subsidy they are entitled to. WHAT WE WOULD CALL YOU FOR
- Scheme mapping and eligibility assessment
- AIF eligibility structuring and application preparation
- Reviewing our DPR and projections against bank appraisal criteria
- Amethi credit landscape briefings: lead bank, agri-active branches, PLP priorities, DCC and DLRC cycles
- FPO formation advisory
- NHB and MIDH routes for our orchard blocks
- Full-day training workshops for our apprentice and junior cohort ESSENTIAL
- Retired NABARD DDM / AGM / DGM, OR retired LDM / Chief Manager (Agriculture) from a PSB or RRB
- 15+ years in agricultural credit or district credit administration
- Direct experience of the Awadh belt: Amethi, Sultanpur, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh or Ayodhya
- Agri proposals prepared or appraised through to sanction
- Fluent Hindi and Awadhi. Comfortable in a village and in front of a room of twenty-two-year-olds
- Written confirmation of eligibility under post-retirement service rules PREFERRED
- FPO promotion under the NABARD-implemented scheme
- Hands-on AIF portal experience
- Horticulture financing: NHB back-ended subsidy, MIDH, orchard appraisal




- Agro-processing and post-harvest unit appraisal
- Bio-input or biofertiliser enterprises, including FCO licensing
- Fisheries, poultry or dairy financing (PMMSY, AHIDF)
- Startup ecosystem funding: DPIIT, SISFS, StartinUP, incubator routes
- Grant utilisation compliance: UCs, milestone reporting
- Teaching, KVK training or extension delivery record
- Relationships with NDUAT Kumarganj, KVK Amethi or KVK Sultanpur
- Comfortable delivering virtually and willing to be filmed for our training library Not required: influence over decisions at any lending or sanctioning institution. FEES AND COSTS
- Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 per full-day engagement, negotiated on profile and format
- Travel, local transport, meals and accommodation covered in full, arranged by us or reimbursed at actual. Travel may be required, and managed according to 2nd AC, Economoy Flights, 3 Star+ Hotel Stays (Or Equivalent with facilities).
- Milestone fees may be agreed for defined project work, payable on deliverable completion. Never linked to a sanction outcome
- Named advisor listing on our website, letterhead and grant proposals, with credit on training material and reports
- Equity consideration via sweat equity or warrants may be discussed with long-standing advisors No minimum number of engagements is guaranteed. TERMS

Post-retirement restrictions: institutional service rules often restrict post-retirement engagement with entities that deal with the former employer. Candidates must confirm their own position in writing. Where doubt exists we prefer candidates two or more years retired.

Scope: this role prepares proposals that succeed on merit. It does not represent Kisaanu before any sanctioning authority in a capacity intended to influence a decision.

Classification: engagement-based and non-exclusive. TDS under Section 194J. GST at 18% if registered. NDA applies. TO APPLY
