Compliance Licensing & Affairs Manager

This role is responsible for managing the group’s global licensing portfolio and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations across all licensed jurisdictions. The role acts as a key liaison with regulators, external advisors and internal stakeholders to support licence applications, renewals, regulatory approval and reporting processes.

The role is responsible for maintaining accurate regulatory records, co-ordinating regulatory notifications, monitoring licensing obligations and supporting the business in navigating regulatory requirements associated with current products, services and market expansion initiatives. The role also provides regulatory support to customers, internal business functions and commercial teams to ensure the group maintains its reputation as a trusted provider of network, cloud, hosting and managed services to the regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

Licensing and Regulatory Authorisations

Lead the preparation, submission and management of all licence applications, renewals, registrations and regulatory approvals across multiple jurisdictions.

Ensure all licensing obligations, conditions and reporting requirements are met within prescribed deadlines.

Coordinate the collection and submission of corporate, ownership, financial, technical and operational information required by regulatory authorities.

Maintain license database and oversee renewal programmes globally.

Manage responses to regulator information requests.





Track regulatory obligations and ensure business functions remain informed of compliance requirements.

Regulatory Relationship Management

Liaise with regulators and external advisors in support of applications, renewals and information requests.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with regulatory authorities across licensed jurisdictions.

Coordinate regulatory meetings and information requests.

Represent the company during licensing discussions.

Manage communications relating to regulatory notifications and approvals.

Corporate Change Notifications

Ensure timely notification and approval by Regulator of any changes in key personnel, group structure, operational changes and new sites or services launches requiring regulatory approval.

Maintain records demonstrating compliance with notification obligations.

Regulatory Framework and Product Mapping

Assist with assessing Continent 8’s security products (C8 Secure) against regulatory requirements to establish licensing requirements.

Work with Product, Technology, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure the group and its services remain compliant with applicable regulations.

Commercial and Customer Support





Participate in customer meetings, audits and due diligence reviews.

Support customer responses relating to regulatory compliance.

Records Management

Maintain complete and accurate record of all licenses, approvals, correspondence, filings and regulator decisions.

Maintain records demonstrating compliance with notification obligations.

Ensure appropriate retention and accessibility of all regulatory assets.

Other Responsibilities

Ad-hoc duties as may reasonably be required, and any other tasks as directed by Management in line with business needs.

Act in accordance with legislation both locally and in all jurisdictions that the Company and its associated companies operate.

Comply with all legal obligations and Company Policies Group wide including security and health and safety requirements.

Be willing to undertake any training and development that the Company deems to be relevant to ensure that the duties of the role can be performed in line with their employment contract and role profile.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Degree-level qualification in Law, Business, Compliance, Governance, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years experience in a regulatory, licensing, compliance, legal or governance role.

Experience managing licence applications, renewals and regulatory approvals across multiple jurisdictions.

Demonstrated experience liaising with external advisors and regulators.

Ability to interpret legislation, regulations and licensing requirements.
