NWe are seeking a compliance professional to join the compliance function at BDO India. The role involves overseeing firm-wide regulatory compliance, advising on risk mitigation, and working closely with business leaders, legal teams, and external advisors to ensure adherence to applicable laws and industry standards.

NExperience: 8-12 years of relevant PQE

NQualification: CS mandatory. LLB, LLM and other related courses preferred

NFunction: Compliance & Regulatory

NLocation: Mumbai - Dadar

NKey Responsibilities:

N- Manage the firm's compliance framework across all business units and support functions.

N- Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations, including Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, data privacy laws, anti-bribery and corruption laws, and other industry-specific requirements.

N- Advise leadership and internal stakeholders on regulatory changes, compliance risks, and mitigation strategies.

N- Draft and review compliance policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines.

N- Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits across departments.

N- Manage regulatory filings, submissions,



and correspondence with authorities.

N- Oversee compliance training and awareness programs across the firm.

N- Work closely with internal legal, risk, and HR teams as well as external counsel and consultants.

N- Manage internal investigations into compliance breaches or concerns.

N- Maintain records and reporting mechanisms for compliance monitoring and tracking.

N- Provide regular updatesand reports to senior management and the Board, as applicable.

NKey Requirements:

N- 8-12 years of experience in regulatory compliance roles.

N- CS & LLB mandatory;

LLM or additional compliance certifications preferred.

N- Strong understanding ofcorporate laws, financial regulations, data protection, and anti-corruption compliance.

N- Experience advising senior leadership and managing cross-functional compliance matters.

N- High analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

N- Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).

N- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

N- Robust organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.
