We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and client-focused Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Your Desk business centre. This role is a blend of operations management and business development — the ideal candidate will be equally comfortable running a smooth workspace and pitching it to prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Facility Management
- Create a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and by building relationships between members.
- Ensure that your centre is fully operational and processes are running smoothly, delivering a high-quality experience for all members.
- Solve member-related issues to ensure that a cohesive community is maintained (tickets,
emails, escalations and in-person).
- Conduct weekly audits of office supplies and consumables, placing timely replenishment orders to ensure the space is always fully stocked.
- Oversee vendor coordination, maintenance schedules, and general upkeep of the facility including the café, meeting rooms, event zone, and recreational areas.
Greeting / Point of Contact
- Be the first and last point of contact for your centre.
- Cover the front desk during business hours.
- Greet and check-in member guests.
- Greet people who come in for tours, track walk-ins, schedule tours, and send confirmation emails.
- Manage On-Demand member check-ins and check-outs.
- Prepare and distribute promotional materials to guests / potential members.
- Greet and welcome walk-in and potential new members, answer guest questions, or refer inquirers to additional resources.
Sales & Business Development
- Conduct compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features,
amenities, and value proposition of Your Desk.
- Drive occupancy targets by converting leads into long-term members through relationship-
building and follow-ups.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing in the co-working industry to support informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with the management team on promotional initiatives, partnerships, and strategies to grow the member base.
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of internal and external events including strategizing,
planning and execution.
- Plan business development activities for ancillary revenue streams such as external events.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory).
- MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Management is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in co-working, hospitality, facility management, or real estate is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
We are looking for driven professionals who combine strong analytical rigour with sound commercial instincts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
- Passion for entrepreneurial communities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Exceptional sales presentation skills — combining clear, data-driven analysis with compelling storytelling to win over prospective clients.
- The ability to build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients through consistent professionalism and trust.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle operations and sales responsibilities simultaneously.
- A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a high sense of ownership.
