Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collections Manager role based in Delhi, India.

The Collections

Manager oversees end-to-end collections activities, including monitoring delinquent accounts, designing collection strategies, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues. The role involves leading and mentoring a collections team, setting performance targets, and conducting regular reviews to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Manager collaborates with risk, operations, and customer support teams to refine policies, address disputes, and maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards. Daily responsibilities also include handling escalated cases,



preparing collection reports and dashboards, analyzing portfolio trends, and recommending process improvements to enhance recovery rates while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

Strong collections management and debt recovery skills, with experience in consumer lending or financial services.

Ability to analyze data, interpret portfolio performance metrics, and use insights to optimize collection strategies.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to collections and credit operations in India.

Team leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and collaboration across functions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities when dealing with customers and complex cases.

Comfort with using collection systems, CRM tools, and basic MS Excel or similar reporting tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are an advantage.

Prior experience in a collections or credit control leadership role, preferably in a technology-led or fintech environment.
