Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collections Manager role based in Jammikunta.

The Collections

Manager is responsible for overseeing collection operations, including monitoring overdue accounts, contacting customers, and negotiating payment solutions in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves managing a team of collection executives, setting performance targets, coaching team members, and tracking daily, weekly, and monthly collection metrics.

Manager collaborates with branch and regional leadership to improve recovery rates, reduce delinquencies, and implement process improvements. Daily activities include reviewing account portfolios, analyzing collection trends, preparing reports, coordinating with legal and compliance teams when needed, and ensuring that customer interactions are professional,



ethical, and aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong collections, credit control, and recovery management skills, with experience handling delinquent accounts and negotiating repayment solutions.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret portfolio data, track KPIs, and identify trends to improve collection strategies.
- Candidates should possess team leadership and people management skills, with experience in setting targets, coaching staff, and driving performance in a field or branch environment.
- Candidates should possess communication and relationship management skills, including clear verbal and written communication, customer handling, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of financial services operations, including NBFC processes, regulatory and compliance requirements, and basic understanding of lending products.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize accounts, manage field visits, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field are beneficial; prior experience in collections or retail lending is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and reporting tools, familiarity with collection management systems, and comfort working in a performance-driven environment are advantageous.
