About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join its dynamic team across India. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering to accelerate the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at an enterprise level. The successful candidate will lead opportunities involving cloud migration, modernization, data engineering, and AI-driven automation for Fortune 2000 clients.

You will collaborate closely with global sales teams and cross-functional technical architects to craft compelling go-to-market strategies, develop innovative solutions, and secure customer wins across key industry sectors such as banking, retail, healthcare, and telecom. The role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise cloud architectures, data engineering, and AI solutions. You will be instrumental in designing industry-specific use cases, conducting technical workshops, and creating reference architectures that facilitate seamless cloud adoption and modernization.

Your insights will help clients realize significant TCO perks, optimize operations, and leverage advanced AI capabilities like Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and GenAI solutions to transform their business processes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or related fields. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience is required, with at least 2-3 years dedicated to working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven expertise in GCP compute, storage, and networking services is essential, along with high proficiency in data engineering tools such as BigQuery and Looker.

Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, including Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, as well as experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), is preferred. Candidates should have demonstrated success in collaborating with global systems integrators (GSI), building joint solutions, and scaling go-to-market initiatives. Strong soft skills, including executive presence, whiteboarding capabilities, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value, are critical.

Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer are highly desirable.

Responsibilities Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and strategic objectives.

Develop ROI models for Google Cloud consumption, focusing on hyperscale funding levers that optimize TCO and maximize client value.

Design industry-specific use cases for IT managed services, emphasizing cloud adoption, modernization, and automation strategies.

Lead technical workshops to demonstrate cloud migration and modernization approaches, creating reference architectures for data center transformation to GCP.

Design and implement enterprise-grade data engineering solutions utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI,



ensuring scalable and secure architectures.

Innovate and develop AI solutions, including Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and GenAI, to enhance enterprise IT managed services, cloud operations, and engineering capabilities.

Partner with GSI ecosystem players to develop joint solutions, scale go-to-market strategies, and expand market reach.

Maintain a high level of industry domain knowledge, mapping value stream use cases across sectors such as BFSI, RCPG, telecom, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
