Role Overview :

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team and support a high-impact application that requires ingesting, transforming, and managing large volumes of data from diverse sources.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in cloud infrastructure, automation, and data integration, with hands-on experience in designing scalable pipelines and deploying services in modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines to bring in structured and unstructured data from multiple external and internal sources.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure reliable, high-performance data delivery into the target application.
- Implement and manage cloud formation templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and service deployment.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data availability, accuracy, and usability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and best practices across all environments.

Required Skills & Experience:





- 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with hands-on experience in deploying services using CloudFormation templates or equivalent IaC tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and pipeline development.
- Experience with data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work with large-scale datasets and ensure effective ingestion from multiple sources.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, hybrid environments.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for CI/CD in data engineering workflows.
- Exposure to data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.
