Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Cleanroom Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cleanroom facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cleanroom environments, HVAC systems, contamination control measures, and facility engineering activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The role involves maintaining optimal environmental conditions, supporting cleanroom validation activities, troubleshooting facility-related issues, and ensuring efficient operation of cleanroom systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain cleanroom environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, pressure differentials, and particulate levels.

Ensure compliance with cleanroom classification standards and contamination control requirements.

Operate and maintain HVAC systems, HEPA/ULPA filtration systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and related cleanroom equipment.

Conduct regular inspections, performance testing, and cleanroom certification support activities.





Analyze environmental monitoring data and recommend corrective actions when required.

Support cleanroom validation, qualification, and commissioning activities.

Investigate cleanroom-related deviations, equipment failures, and environmental issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with Facilities, Production, Quality, EHS, and Project teams to resolve operational issues.

Review and maintain engineering documentation, SOPs, maintenance records, and technical reports.

Assist in facility upgrades, equipment installations, and cleanroom expansion projects.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Support energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programs within cleanroom operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Robust understanding of cleanroom operations and contamination control principles.

Knowledge of HVAC systems, air distribution, filtration technologies, and environmental controls.

Understanding of ISO Cleanroom Standards and cleanroom classifications.

Familiarity with HEPA/ULPA filters, pressure cascades, airflow balancing, and environmental monitoring systems.





Ability to troubleshoot HVAC and cleanroom-related issues.

Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office applications.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, electronics manufacturing, laboratory, or advanced manufacturing facilities.

Hands-on experience in cleanroom validation, certification, commissioning, or facility operations.

Exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) is preferred.
