Role & responsibilities:

- Civil ,Structural & Architectural specifications as per Contract requirements, Standard design requirements and WABAG standards.
- Analysis of the Civil ,Structural & Architectural specifications as per contract requirements, standard design requirements and WABAG standards for the preparation of design & BOQ during the proposal phase with specific emphasis to the water retaining and conveying structures, earth retaining structures.
- Analysis of the BOQ provided by third party (Structural consultant, Geotechnical consultant etc.) including technical exchange with them.
- The appropriateness and coherency of the design & drawings produced for the structural, topographical and geotechnical package by the external consultants during Proposal & Execution phase of the project.
- Following all applicable engineering procedures
- Addressing all the comments raised by client/consultants, and obtaining all necessary approvals in timely manner
- Identifying opportunities and chasing design optimizations
- Respecting the Engineering planning and budget.
- Proactive and effective communication among the project team.
- The documentation management related to Civil , Structural & Architectural deliverables

PRODUCES & MONITORS:

- Contract general specification & technical requirements for Civil,



Structural & Architectural works including ancillary works like roads and drains etc.
- Technical documentation for civil subcontracts
- Technical comparison table of third party (Geotechnical, Structural, Topographical) offers
- To monitor execution phase Civil BOQ,, compare with proposal phase Civil BOQ, analyse deviations and prepare a register of the quantities variations

CHECKS:

- Documents and drawings submitted by External Structural design as per Design basis report / Contract / Project requirements as assigned.
- Rate Analysis prepared by Quantity Survey Engineer
- BOQ & Design prepared by other engineers

Preferred candidate profile:

- Must be fully conversant with technical structural software, such as STAAD ,ETABS, PROTECTED Etc
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project is essential
- Must be fluent in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology
- Demonstrate good management, communication and technical skills and be capable of working both within the team and independently, as dictated by work load.
- Good Knowledge of IS, BSEN and International Codes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: B.E. / B.Tech Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

M.E. / M.Tech. Structural Design Engineering (Desirable)

WORK EXPERIANCE:

7 to 11 years in similar role and responsibility in EPC companies.
