- Budget ManagementMonitor project costs against approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures. Track project profitability through continuous budget monitoring. Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and MIS reports. Monitor BOQ quantities, budget utilization, and forecast project costs. Procurement &
- Commercial ManagementPrepare Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Procurement Plans. Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Prepare comparative statements for quotations and recommend vendor selection. Negotiate rates, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and subcontractors.
Issue Purchase
Orders (POs) and monitor timely material deliveries. Material &
- Resource ManagementMonitor material consumption and control wastage. Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and budgets. Conduct market surveys to source quality materials at competitive prices.
Maintain procurement and inventory-related records. Billing &
- CoordinationVerify BOQ quantities and support billing processes. Coordinate with Site Engineers, Billing Team, Procurement Team, and Accounts Department. Resolve commercial and procurement-related issues to ensure uninterrupted project execution. Reporting &
- AnalysisPrepare monthly procurement reports, cost reports, purchase reports, and MIS dashboards. Analyze project expenditures and recommend corrective actions. Maintain commercial documentation and procurement records for audits and management review.
Required
QualificationsBachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. 3–8 years of experience in commercial, procurement, estimation, or cost control within the construction industry.
Experience in building, industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects is preferred.
Required
SkillsStrong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and rate analysis. Hands-on experience with DSR, SSR, and market rate analysis. Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.
Knowledge of procurement planning, vendor management, and purchase processes. Robust negotiation and commercial management skills. Understanding of material planning (MRP) and inventory management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is an added advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
