An expert team of ecologists, architects, and project managers oversees the full project lifecycle—from site analysis and design to implementation and long-term maintenance—ensuring measurable outcomes in carbon sequestration and reduced land maintenance costs. Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full time, on-site leadership role based in Jaipur, responsible for overseeing DhartiAmrit’s day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient delivery of forest creation and ecosystem restoration projects. The COO will translate the company’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans, coordinate cross-functional teams of ecologists, architects, project managers, and support staff, and implement best practices for process optimization and quality control.

This role will manage budgets, resource allocation,



and operational performance metrics, while safeguarding safety, compliance, and environmental standards across all projects. The COO will collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership on business planning, drive operational scalability, and support client engagement by aligning project execution with contractual commitments and sustainability goals. The position requires regular on-site coordination, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement of operational systems to support DhartiAmrit’s growth.

Qualifications

- Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, project execution oversight, and cross-functional team coordination.
- Proven experience in Business Planning and strategic implementation, with the ability to translate vision into measurable operational objectives.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and drive evidence-based decision making.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Budgeting, including cost control, resource allocation, and financial forecasting for multi-site projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in operations or general management, preferably in environmental services, sustainability, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Experience managing field operations or large-scale, multi-location projects; familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks is an advantage.
