Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chief Audit & Internal Controls Officer role based in Abroad. The role involves designing and overseeing internal control frameworks to safeguard assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational efficiency within the immigration and visa consulting practice. The Officer will plan and lead internal audits, review financial statements and key processes, identify control gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial and operational data, preparing audit reports, advising leadership on risk management, and monitoring the implementation of audit findings. The role also requires close collaboration with management and teams across finance, operations, and compliance to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and identify risks and control gaps.

Solid finance and financial statements knowledge,



including experience reviewing budgets, cash flows, and management reports.

Proven auditing experience, covering internal audits, risk assessments, process reviews, and internal control design.

Effective communication skills for presenting findings, preparing clear reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) are an advantage.

Experience in professional services or consulting environments, preferably within immigration, legal, or compliance-focused sectors.

Demonstrated ability to work on-site with stakeholders at different levels, manage multiple audits, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.

Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, along with proficiency in audit tools, spreadsheets, and reporting software.
