Role Description The Chemist role is a full-time, on-site position based at Prakruti Products’ facility in Tumkur. The Chemist will perform day-to-day laboratory activities, including sample preparation, testing, and analysis of herbal extracts and nutraceutical ingredients.

Responsibilities include supporting research and development projects, developing and validating analytical methods, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Chemist will work closely with the quality control team to monitor product specifications, document results accurately,



and maintain laboratory records. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample handling, operation of analytical instruments, and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in monitoring product quality, documenting test results, and supporting compliance with standards such as WHO-GMP and organic certifications.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, method validation, and problem-solving in relation to chemical and herbal compositions.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills, with the ability to participate in formulation development, process optimization, and innovation projects.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Knowledge of herbal extracts, nutraceuticals, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work in office in Tumkur and follow established safety and quality procedures.
