We are a growing digital health care company seeking a motivated Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The role offers ownership of tax and accounting functions and prospect to work closely with senior management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, including Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Manage end-to-end taxation, including direct taxes (TDS, advance tax, tax provisions), tax planning, and preparation and filing of income tax returns along with monthly GST compliances.
- Assist in statutory audits,
internal audits, and coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audit processes.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including bank and account reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and debtor management to ensure efficient working capital planning.
- Implement and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation to improve operational efficiency. Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
