- Convert engineering problem statements into CFD simulation projects by defining objectives, assumptions, boundary conditions, and analysis methodology.
- Perform geometry cleanup and preparation for CFD analysis to ensure accurate and efficient simulations.
- Create high-quality computational meshes using industry-standard meshing tools.
- Execute CFD simulations for thermal and fluid flow applications.
- Independently perform model setup, solver configuration, and simulation execution for straightforward to medium-complexity projects.
- Carry out post-processing activities, analyze simulation results, and prepare technical reports.
- Validate simulation results and provide engineering recommendations based on analysis findings.
- Collaborate with design, product development, and engineering teams to understand requirements and support design optimization.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
- Maintain proper documentation of simulation methodologies, assumptions, and results.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualification: M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Thermal Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience:
2–3 years of relevant experience in CFD analysis and simulation.
- Strong understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) fundamentals and engineering principles.
- Experience in converting engineering and thermal-fluid problems into CFD simulation studies.
- Hands-on experience in geometry cleanup and model preparation.
- Proficiency in meshing tools such as:
- Hyper mesh
- ANSYS Workbench
- Fluent Meshing
- Experience in CFD setup, solver execution, and post-processing.
- Working knowledge of ANSYS Fluent or equivalent CFD solvers.
- Understanding of fluid flow, heat transfer, and thermal management concepts.
- Ability to interpret simulation results and provide actionable engineering recommendations.
- Experience in preparing technical reports and documentation.
