Job Title: Cashier

Department: Store Operations

Reporting To: Store Manager / Front-End Manager

Job Summary The Cashier is responsible for providing a seamless checkout experience by accurately processing customer transactions, handling various payment modes, maintaining cash accuracy, and delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.

Accurately bill products using the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Accept payments through cash, cards, UPI, EMI, gift vouchers, and other approved payment methods.

Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations as per company policy.

Promote value-added services such as extended warranty, protection plans, memberships, and finance options.

Verify invoices, warranties, and customer details before completing transactions.

Maintain accuracy in cash handling and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

Ensure all promotional offers and discounts are correctly applied.

Resolve customer queries at the billing counter or escalate issues to the supervisor when required.





Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing area.

Follow SOPs related to billing, fraud prevention, cash management, and compliance.

Support store operations during peak hours and assist with front-end activities when required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 12th Pass (Graduate preferred).

0–2 years of experience in retail cashiering or customer service.

Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

Required Skills

Basic computer knowledge and POS system familiarity.

Good numerical ability and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a quick-paced retail environment.

Honest, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Billing accuracy.

Cash variance (target: zero discrepancy).

Checkout speed and customer waiting time.

Customer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT).

Compliance with billing and cash handling SOPs.

Achievement of value-added service attachment targets.

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
