1. Manage procurement of transmission line materials such as towers, conductors, insulators, OPGW, hardware fittings, earth wire, clamps, and transmission accessories.

2. Handle sourcing of substation equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CT/PTs, relays, control panels, and switchyard materials.

3. Float RFQs, obtain techno-commercial quotations, conduct price negotiations, and finalize purchase orders.

4. Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and identify recent suppliers to improve competitiveness and supply reliability.

5. Conduct vendor evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring based on quality, delivery, and commercial parameters.

6. Coordinate with engineering, project execution, planning, and quality teams to understand material requirements and procurement schedules.

7. Track purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries to project sites and manufacturing facilities.

8. Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement planning to avoid material shortages and excess stock.

9. Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical standards, and procurement policies.

10. Support cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternate sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier partnerships.

11. Resolve supply chain issues related to delays, quality concerns,



commercial disputes, and logistics challenges.

12. Maintain procurement MIS, spend analysis, vendor database, and procurement documentation.

13. Support contract management activities including rate contracts, annual procurement agreements, and project-specific contracts.

14. Ensure adherence to statutory, commercial, and organizational compliance requirements.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent.

- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

Experience

- 6-10 years of experience in procurement within Power Transmission, EPC, Transmission Line, Substation, Renewable Energy, or Infrastructure sectors.

- Experience in procurement of transmission line and substation equipment is preferred.
