Role Description The Cardiac Catheterization Technician is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. The technician assists cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient preparation, equipment setup, and procedural support in the cath lab. Daily responsibilities include operating and monitoring imaging and hemodynamic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring accurate documentation of procedures.

The role also involves coordinating with nursing and cardiology teams, adhering to safety and radiation protection protocols, and supporting post-procedure care and room turnover.



The technician is expected to follow established clinical guidelines, participate in quality improvement activities, and maintain equipment and supply readiness.

Qualifications Candidates should possess credentials related to American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent radiologic technology certification, where applicable.

Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Cardiology and experience in cardiac care settings.

Candidates should possess practical experience working in a Cath Lab environment, including familiarity with cath lab workflows and safety standards.

Candidates should possess hands-on skills in Cardiac Cath procedures, including assisting with diagnostic and interventional cases.

Candidates should possess competencies in Radiology, including imaging principles, radiation safety, and operation of relevant equipment.

Additional beneficial qualifications include a diploma or degree in radiologic technology or cardiac technology, current BLS/ACLS certification, attention to detail, ability to work in high-pressure situations, and effective communication and teamwork skills.
