Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer / Drafter to support our Oil & Gas engineering team. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings, with a solid focus on large-scale plant drawing updates and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and produce accurate 2D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications
- Create and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;)




- Interpret and convert conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings
- Maintain and revise existing plant drawings as part of large-scale update projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines
- Manage multiple tasks and deliverables concurrently while meeting deadlines
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Strong ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
- Close attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in Oil & Gas or process industries
- Hands-on experience with P&ID; design and standards
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards
