This is Individual Contribution (IC) role to Lead, manage and support accounting and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of books of accounts for assigned clients
Ensuring that the predefined SLAs are met
Understanding the key requirements for deliverables
Prepare complex entries and schedules (intercompany, consolidation etc.) and finalizing the books of accounts for assigned clients
Preparing/Reviewing VAT and other applicable returns
Audit Support
Liaise with key stakeholders
Owning and completing any ad-hoc projects

Good communication skills both written and verbal
Good accounting acumen and excellent excel skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently;
Solution oriented with strong analytical skills;
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
Positive, flexible personality, easy to adapt to changes and willing to undertake new tasks.
Solid team player
Experience in SSC / BPO will be added advantage
Relevant experience
At least 5 to 6 years' experience post qualification
IFRS and US GAAP exposure preferable
Education/Professional Qualifications
CA/CMA (with accounting experience)
IFRS and US GAAP certification preferable

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager reporting to the Senior Manager ,
this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Management Accounting Team and its’ growth.
Key Responsibilities (US GAAP Focus)
- Review and ensure financial statements are prepared and reported in compliance with US GAAP requirements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex US GAAP accounting matters, including revenue recognition and financial instruments.
- Perform and review account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
- Monitor changes in US GAAP accounting standards (FASB updates) and assess operational and reporting impacts.
- Prepare and review management reports, variance analysis, and financial reporting packages.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization across accounting and reporting processes.
- Lead client discussions on technical accounting matters and provide practical solutions to complex reporting challenges.
- Work as Subject Matter Expert and develop knowledge on cross functional subject (VAT, Payroll tax, Corp. Tax)
- Identify key roles within the team and develop succession plan for team members to be able to fill these roles.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement disclosures.
- Experience in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivots, lookups, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics etc.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex accounting guidance to operational teams and clients.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with global finance teams.
- US CPA with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in US GAAP accounting, financial reporting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Management Accounting.
- CA with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in US GAAP accounting and reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience in preparing and reviewing US GAAP-compliant financial statements and disclosures.
- Experience in a Shared Services, KPO, BPO, Consulting, or Global Capability Center environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, or Dynamics 365.
Education / Professional Qualifications
Essential:
- US CPA (Certified Public Accountant) OR
- Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
Preferred:
- Candidates possessing both US CPA and CA qualifications will be highly preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, or IFRS Certification will be an added advantage.
