Job Location : Ahmedabad - Bodakdev

Working Days : 5 Days Working - Monday to Friday

Working Hours : 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Reports To : Manager - Procurement

Main Duties/Responsibilities :

- Ensures all procurement activities are in compliance with the Company's Rules and Regulations, SOP's, and all other applicable procurement procedures, as well as in compliance with the commodity related technical requirements.
- Support the procurement Manager INDIA with the training and performance improvement of the procurement staff in India.
- Issues RFQs to qualified suppliers, clarifies offers, and administers/archives the received offers strictly for Indian suppliers.
- Assist QD with product identification and coordination and provides advice as to possible alternative.
- Maintain databased of vendor, prices and provide to the Procurement Director and Category Manager for review.
- Draft and prepares price estimates for Procurement Budget purposes strictly for Indian suppliers.
- Prepares purchase orders based on procurement Proposals from ERP System strictly for Indian Suppliers.




- Conducts desktop evaluation of existing and potential suppliers as well as on-site audits as appropriate Strictly for Indian Suppliers.
- Assist Procurement Inbound Staff when they ask for support in relation to purchase order execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Any Graduate with 6 years in a procurement function in commercial working environment preferably with Pharmaceutical Formulation Manufacturing / Healthcare Mfg. organization
- Sound knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices.
- Knowledge in areas of pharmaceuticals ie: regulations, certifications and quality requirements.
- Ability to use current job related computer software and databases. Preferably knowledge of Microsoft AX. Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude when under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Ability to establish harmonious work relationship with all colleagues in an international and multicultural setting.
- Good communication skills.
