Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Butler/House Manager to oversee the daily operations and long-term maintenance of a private residence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing impeccable service. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing household staff, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the smooth and effective running of the household to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the household's daily operations, ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency.

- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, chauffeurs, and other service providers, fostering a professional and cohesive team environment.

- Develop and implement household policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain a high level of excellence and consistency.

- Manage household budgets, track expenses, handle petty cash, and prepare financial reports as required.

- Coordinate and oversee all household maintenance, repairs, and renovations,



liaising with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work.

- Manage household inventories, including supplies, groceries, wine cellars, and valuable collections, ensuring proper storage and replenishment.

- Plan and execute private events, dinner parties, and social gatherings, including guest reception, service, and post-event cleanup.

- Provide personal assistance to the principals, including managing calendars, making travel arrangements, running errands, and handling correspondence.

- Ensure the security and privacy of the principals and the residence at all times, implementing and monitoring security protocols.

- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of proper etiquette and protocol for various social situations and formal service.

- Oversee the care of fine art, antiques, silver, and other valuable household items.

- Manage household technology, including smart home systems, entertainment systems, and communication networks.

- Handle special requests and projects as assigned by the principals with discretion and efficiency.
