To further power our growth, we are shifting toward a data-driven retail culture and are looking for a visionary BI Leader to transform our raw enterprise data into strategic execution.

Role Overview The Analytics & Insights Specialist will act as the bridge between the Power BI reporting team and management decision‑making. This role is responsible for interpreting data, identifying trends, generating insights, and recommending actionable strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Interpretation — Analyse Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets to extract meaningful insights.
2. Business Insights — Translate raw data into clear business recommendations for management.
3. Trend Analysis — Identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends across business functions.
4. Decision Support — Prepare insight-driven presentations to guide leadership decisions.
5. Performance Monitoring — Track KPIs and highlight areas requiring attention or improvement.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration — Work closely with the Power BI team, operations, finance, and management.
7. Root Cause Analysis — Investigate underlying reasons for performance deviations.

Forecasting & Modelling — Use historical data to project future performance and risks.
9. Insight Documentation — Maintain structured reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership.
10. Strategic Recommendations — Suggest actionable steps based on data findings.

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting Power BI dashboards
3. Good understanding of business KPIs and operational metrics
4. Ability to convert data into explicit narratives and recommendations
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills
6. Knowledge of Excel, SQL, or other analytical tools (added advantage)
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

1. Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
2. 7 to 10 years of experience in data analysis, business insights, or reporting
3. Experience working with BI tools (Power BI preferred)

Reporting Structure

1. Reports to: Senior Management
2. Works closely with: Power BI Development Team, Operations, Finance, ERP tech & Functional team
