Valuable understanding and technical knowledge of various types of EHV substation and line equipment, configurations, layouts, SLDs, BOMs and technical specifications, and IS & IEC standards of various equipment.
Understanding clients' requirements and floating inquiries to various suppliers & manufacturers for estimation.
Close follow-up & coordination with suppliers and clients.
Preparation of BOQ/quantity estimation by reviewing layout, SLD, EKD, technical specifications, etc. documents.
Review the technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications received from manufacturers/suppliers in line with end clients' requirements.
Understand the actual technical requirement of the client & communicate with internal departments as well as suppliers/manufacturers.
Essential Experience:
5-10 years of experience in preparation of BoQ, EKD, SLD, Layouts, cost/quantity estimation, technical support for techno-commercial offer for Substation projects up to 33kV/66kV/220kV
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, & Gujarati are a must.
Expert in MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
