The Structural BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and managing detailed structural BIM models for RCC and steel structures while ensuring adherence to project standards and BIM workflows. The role involves preparing structural models, shop drawings, and quantity take-offs, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free project delivery. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of accurate BIM outputs and maintain project quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage structural BIM models for RCC and steel structures using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Prepare LOD 300500 level models, including rebar detailing and structural components.
- Generate GA drawings, shop drawings, and structural documentation from BIM models.
- Perform quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation from the BIM model.
- Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project specifications, and quality guidelines.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and project stakeholders to maintain accurate and coordinated BIM models.
- Support implementation and maintece of BIM workflows, processes, and project standards.
- Handle client communication via emails and calls, providing project updates and clarifications.
- Perform QA/QC checks, sampling, and estimation related to BIM deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for BIM-related issues within the project team.
- Ensure timely delivery of models, drawings, and BIM outputs as per project schedules.
- Work from office (WFO) and be versatile for onsite support if required by the project.
Qualifications Experience:
Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 24 years of experience in Structural BIM modeling and coordination.
