We are looking for a energetic and result-driven Deputy Placement Manager to lead placement initiatives, build strong employer partnerships, and ensure successful student placements across multiple sectors. The role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, and execution capabilities to achieve placement targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Placement Planning & Targets
- Manage sector-wise placement goals:
- IT: 150 students
- BPO/KPO: 200 students
- Banking & Finance: 300 students
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve overall placement targets.
2. Placement Strategy & Execution
- Conduct 23 placement drives per week across sectors.
- Ensure 500+ placements within 34 months.
- Maintain a 70 75% interview-to-offer conversion rate.
- Understand job requirements and align student profiles accordingly.
- Support students in resume building and portfolio development.
3. Employer Engagement & Networking
- Build and maintain strong employer relationships through platforms like Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed.
- Connect with hiring managers via calls, emails, and professional networks.
- Schedule regular company visits and coordinate hiring drives.
- Share relevant student profiles based on job requirements.
4. Student Engagement & Training
- Conduct pre-placement sessions, mock interviews, and resume workshops.
- Provide communication and soft skills training.
- Guide students in creating professional profiles.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling for career guidance and motivation.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain placement trackers and reports using Google Sheets.
- Track interview status, participation, and placement outcomes.
6. Joining & Post-Placement Support
- Coordinate joining formalities and document verification.
- Guide students on offer letters and background verification.
- Conduct follow-ups with students and employers during the first 30 60 days.
- Ensure 80%+ retention of placed candidates.
