We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in US regulatory reporting and AxiomSL solutions to support strategic regulatory initiatives within a banking environment.The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of US prudential and financial regulatory reporting requirements, solid data analysis capabilities, and hands-on experience working with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL.The role involves requirements gathering, data analysis, regulatory interpretation, testing support, reconciliation, and collaboration across business and technology stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

Taking up the role of Business Analyst to:

Gather, analyse, and document business, data, and regulatory requirements related to US regulatory reporting.

Work closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and IT teams to implement and enhance AxiomSL reporting solutions.

Translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications, reporting logic, and business processes.

Support implementation and enhancement of US regulatory reports including:

FR Y-9C

FR Y-14

FFIEC Reports

Call Reports

Liquidity Reporting

Basel / Capital Reporting

Regulatory Stress Testing

Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and lineage tracing across upstream systems.

Analyse calculation inputs, reporting rules, adjustments, and reconciliation processes within AxiomSL.

Identify data quality gaps and work with stakeholders on remediation strategies.

Support UAT, SIT,



regression testing, and validation of regulatory reports.

Perform reconciliations between source systems, AxiomSL outputs, and submitted regulatory reports.

Collaborate with development teams to clarify business requirements and validate implementations.

Ensure compliance with data governance, controls, audit, and regulatory standards.

Support regulatory change initiatives and ongoing compliance updates.

Produce clear documentation including:

BRDs

FRDs/FSDs

Data dictionaries

Process flows

Test cases

Mapping documents

Traceability matrices

Skills

Must have

Must Have: Strong experience as a Axiom Business Analyst with experience in US reporting

Hands-on experience with AxiomSL / ControllerView platform.

Strong understanding of US regulatory reporting frameworks and reporting obligations.

Experience with calculation inputs, data sourcing, adjustments, and reporting logic within AxiomSL.

Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

Experience performing data mapping, reconciliation, and lineage analysis.

Understanding of Finance, Risk, Treasury, and regulatory data domains.

Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to interpret regulatory documentation and translate into business requirements.

Nice to have

Experience with COREP / FINREP or other EBA regulatory reports.

Exposure to data platforms (e.g., SQL, Azure, Databricks).

Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
