We are hiring at Aditya Birla Capital at Mumbai Location.
Brief about the role
The role will define and operationalize enterprise-wide digital and AI security standards, enable secure adoption of emerging technologies, and work with LOB CISOs and specialist security teams to ensure digital platforms, public generative AI usage, and AI/ML implementations are governed through a consistent, risk-based, and regulatory-aligned approach.
In addition, the role will help identify, assess, and shape high-value AI use-cases within the cyber security function, so that AI can be adopted responsibly to improve the effectiveness, speed, scale, and intelligence of cyber security operations, detection, analysis, response, governance, and assurance.
Role & responsibilities
1. The role operates in a federated security model, where LOB CISOs, business technology teams, digital teams, and central security functions must align on standards without compromising business agility.
2. AB Capitals digital and AI adoption is accelerating across customer journeys, internal operations, analytics, automation, and partner ecosystems, requiring a dedicated central view of digital and AI security risk.
3. The role must convert the Group’s AI security principles and framework into usable operating controls, review mechanisms,
approval guardrails, and implementation patterns across diverse businesses.
4. The role must also help the cyber security function itself identify and leverage appropriate AI use-cases to improve internal capabilities such as monitoring, triage, analysis, reporting, control assurance, and risk visibility.
5. The job requires balancing innovation and speed with regulatory expectations, customer trust, data protection obligations, resilience requirements, and reputational risk.
6. The role sits at the intersection of digital product teams, engineering, cloud, data/AI teams, LOB CISOs, GRC, VAPT, Red Team, Security Architecture, and cyber operations teams, and therefore needs strong influencing skills and role clarity.
7. Emerging AI use cases, external AI dependencies, public generative AI platforms, copilots, agents, and embedded AI features create recent risks related to data leakage, model misuse, prompt injection, insecure integrations, overreliance, and governance gaps.
8. The role is expected to provide clear guidance and subject matter leadership without duplicating the execution responsibilities of specialist control functions such as VAPT, Red Teaming, GRC, or Architecture.
