The ELV Draughtsman who is responsible for preparing detailed ELV system drawings such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Structured Cabling, etc., as per project specifications and design inputs. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and coordination with engineers and project teams.

Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed ELV systems layouts including: CCTV, Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address Systems, Structured Cabling Systems (Data & Voice), Building Management Systems (BMS), IPTV and Intercom Systems.
- Update drawings based on engineers inputs or site mark-ups.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers to ensure accuracy of design and installation details.
- Maintain drawing logs and file management for easy traceability.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs (BOQs) from drawings.




- Revise and resubmit drawings as per the comments.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Electronics or relevant discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in ELV systems drafting.
- Software Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential)
- MS Office tools (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of Standards: Understanding of local/international ELV design and installation standards is an advantage.
- Other Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail
- Valuable communication and coordination skills
- Familiarity with Revit or BIM (added advantage)
