Job Summary:

The SPEL Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) application. The role ensures data integrity, manages user access, supports engineering teams, and maintains project databases throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) databases.
- Configure projects, templates, symbols, reports, and reference data.
- Create and manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions.
- Perform database backup, restoration, and maintenance.
- Support electrical engineering teams during FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to resolve SPEL-related issues.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across projects.
- Generate reports and support project deliverables.
- Assist in software upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
- Integrate SPEL with other engineering tools where applicable.
- Prepare user guides and provide end-user training.
