Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer with solid experience in building scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. The role involves leading data integration, modeling, and delivery of analytics-ready datasets.

Experience

Minimum 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines on Azure
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, cloud applications, and files
- Build and manage data storage using Azure Data Lake / Data Warehouse solutions
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes
- Design data models (raw, staging, curated layers)
- Implement incremental data loading and transformation logic
- Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency
- Optimize performance and scalability of data pipelines
- Collaborate with BI teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets
- Monitor, troubleshoot,



and maintain data workflows

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in Azure Data Engineering stack (ADF, ADLS, Synapse or Fabric)
- Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and implementation
- Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience
- Experience working with REST APIs and data ingestion
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Experience in handling large-scale data processing
- Understanding of data validation and quality frameworks

Good to Have

- Experience with Power BI integration
- Knowledge of Python or Spark
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Exposure to cloud architecture design
