Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for driving growth across GUI’s electrical, civil, forestry, audio-visual, acoustic, and real estate service lines. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships in residential, commercial, and government markets.

The Business Development

Manager will prepare proposals, presentations, and bids; coordinate with technical and project teams to align solutions with client requirements; and support negotiations and contract finalization. Daily responsibilities include market research, lead tracking, pipeline management,



and reporting on sales performance and growth initiatives to senior leadership. The role also contributes to branding and outreach activities, participates in industry events, and ensures that business development efforts are aligned with GUI’s commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with the ability to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Experience in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning, preferably within infrastructure, engineering, real estate, or allied services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operations, and leadership teams.
- Proficiency in pipeline management, CRM tools, and basic data analysis to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Understanding of project delivery processes, regulatory frameworks, and safety standards relevant to infrastructure and construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work on-site with clients and stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
- Prior experience in government or large-scale infrastructure projects, and familiarity with tendering or bidding processes, will be beneficial.
