Through realistic, scenario-based learning inspired by workplace challenges across the IT industry, Velvuri helps students develop practical decision-making skills required for internships, campus placements, and professional careers. We partner with engineering colleges, management institutions, and universities across India.

Help build partnerships with colleges across India while working directly with the Founder of an early-stage technology startup.

Role: Business Development Intern

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

As a Business Development Intern, you will support Velvuri's institutional outreach by identifying prospective colleges, engaging with key stakeholders, managing outreach activities, maintaining CRM records, and coordinating meetings. You will work directly with the Founder and gain hands-on exposure to institutional sales, business development, startup operations, and go-to-market execution. Key Responsibilities

Research and identify prospective engineering and management institutions.

Identify and verify institutional decision-makers.

Build and maintain accurate CRM records.

Execute personalized outreach through approved communication channels.

Schedule meetings and product demonstrations.

Conduct timely follow-ups with prospective institutions.

Maintain sales pipeline updates and activity records.





Support market research and business development initiatives. What We're Looking For

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent research and organizational abilities.

Comfortable communicating through email, phone, and virtual meetings.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, or CRM tools is an advantage. Performance & Growth

Performance will be evaluated based on defined business development KPIs, including research quality, outreach execution, CRM management, meeting generation, and institutional engagement. This is a performance-driven internship with incentives linked to successful institutional onboarding in accordance with the company's incentive policy. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities based on business requirements and individual performance.
