Quantity Surveyor : Role & responsibilities

- Should prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, taking into account materials, labour and other expenses.
- Should manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all financial transactions and agreements align with legal.
- Should prepare tender documents, evaluate bids.
- Should prepare regular cost reports, communicate with management and provide advice on cost-related matters.

Essential Skills:

- Should possess robust ability to analyse data, interpret construction plans, and calculate quantities.
- Should possess In-depth knowledge of construction costs, market rates, and procurement processes.
- Should be able to understand construction contracts
- Should be able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and management .
- Should be able to identify and resolve cost-related issues and negotiate favorable outcomes.

Should act as a financial guardian for construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Quality Control : Roles and responsbilities

- Giving quantity as per Mix design where hand Mixer is used for concreting.
- Summiting all the QA/QC test reports/ documents for Billing purpose
- Preparation and implementation of QA/QC Policies and procedures. •
- Follow up and witnessing the third-party inspection (TPI) for source approval of material and submitting the necessary test report and supporting documents.
- Issuing Open Point Report (OPR) and Punch Point to sub- Contractor when any quality problem arises.
- Taking Care of QA/QC Document of entire project, including the material/ Manufacturer testing certificate (MTC), Calibration, test reports,
- Request for inspection (RFI), NonCompliance report, pour card/ Inspection report (I.R), Checklist, M.O.M, ITP. •
- Setting up Quality Control Laboratory as per the contractual requirement.
- Calibration of all lab Equipment.
- Conducting Concrete trial Mix for grades like M35, M30, M25 etc and getting approval. •




- Testing of soil (Site safe bearing capacity witnessing, LL/ PL, MDD & OMC, compaction test (sand replacement and core cutter method), moisture content) etc. •
- Testing of Pile (Compression test, Pull out test, lateral test, and Pile integrity test witnessing)•
- Testing of aggregate (Sieve analysis, Flakiness, and elongation, AIV, Crushing value, Specific gravity, Bulk density, moisture content, Abrasion test etc...) •
- Testing of sand (Sieve analysis, silt content, bulking ofsand, fineness modulus F.M etc.) • Testing of Brick (Shape and size, water Absorption, Compressive strength). • Testing of cement (consistency test, initial and final setting time, compressive strength test) etc. • Testing of steel (Bend test, re bend test, Rolling margin test) etc
- To Inspect construction materials quality ensuring that products meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Skills:

- A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify even minor defects or deviations from standards.
- The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve quality-related problems.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, as well as understanding relevant technical specifications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to report findings, collaborate with teams, and provide training.
- The ability to identify, analyze, and resolve quality-related problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, company specifications, and quality control procedures. The ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.

Surveyor: Role & responsibilities

- Should manage land surveying operations for infrastructure projects should led survey and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to resolve issues and align with project goalsshould be able to use advanced survey equipment and techniques for precise data collection.
