Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester (L2) with strong expertise in Playwright Automation to support the modernization of enterprise financial reporting platforms built on a secure, cloud-native Azure architecture.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test suites, performing functional and non-functional testing, managing test coverage, and ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright .
- Perform unit, integration, regression, performance, and security testing .
- Conduct bug validation, defect analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA) .
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases .
- Manage visual regression testing using Chromatic and/or Percy .
- Support CI/CD pipelines , automated test execution, and quality gates.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Support adoption of current testing tools, frameworks, and AI-assisted testing solutions .
- Track testing progress, coverage, and release readiness metrics.




- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Software QA and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation .
- Experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Security Testing .
- Experience with Visual Regression Testing tools such as Chromatic or Percy .
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines , quality gates, and automated test execution.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud environments including AKS, APIM, Azure SQL, Azure Storage , and Azure Key Vault is preferred.
- Exposure to AI-based testing tools and intelligent automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies .
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
