Job Description IST Switch or BASE24 Switch Developer
Experience: 3–12 Years
Location: As per business requirement

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain IST Switch applications and payment transaction processing systems.
- Work on card payment networks, ATM, POS, and electronic transaction processing.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions for switch-related enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transaction processing, interfaces, and integrations.
- Develop and support ISO 8583 message formats and payment switch protocols.
- Coordinate with business, testing, and support teams for implementation and production support.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning activities.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in IST Switch or BASE24 Switch development




- Positive understanding of payment systems, ATM/POS transactions, and card management systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards.
- Experience with Java, C, C++, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and SQL.
- Understanding of interfaces, APIs, and transaction processing systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience in banking or financial services domain preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with payment gateways, card switches, or digital banking solutions.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
