Key Responsibilities

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves architecting scalable, secure, and highly available containerized environments and supporting DevOps teams in deploying cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift.
Architect high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions for container platforms.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating with container platforms.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to enable containerized application deployment.
Implement security best practices including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
Perform cluster installation, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Integrate OpenShift with enterprise tools like:
oKubernetes
oDocker
oJenkins
oGitLab
oPrometheus
oGrafana




Support migration of legacy applications to containerized microservices architecture.
Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and best practices for container adoption.

Required Skills
Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and architecture.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
Experience with Linux system administration.
Knowledge of networking, storage, and security in container environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
CI/CD pipeline design and automation experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or Red Hat Certified Architect.
Experience in DevOps transformation initiatives.
Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.

8+ years in IT infrastructure / cloud / DevOps
35 years hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes architecture

Behavioural Competencies :
Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with remote teams
Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services
