Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) solution design and development. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable APIs and backend systems. You will be responsible for building robust and efficient backend services that meet the needs of our applications and clients.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using GCP technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement security and data protection measures in backend systems.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and resolve issues as they arise.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance backend development practices.

Mandatory Skills:





- Robust expertise in GCP solution design and development.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with serverless computing on GCP.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in backend/API development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
