We are hiring for the position of Credentialing Voice Process in our US Medical billing team in Chennai, Tamilnadu

Job Title :

CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST (WFO)

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end provider credentialing and re-credentialing for physicians and allied healthcare providers.
- Complete, review, and submit provider enrollment and credentialing applications accurately and on time.
- Verify provider credentials including licenses, board certifications, DEA, NPI, malpractice insurance, and work history.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and payer-specific guidelines.
- Coordinate with insurance payers, hospitals, and internal teams to obtain timely approvals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files, databases, and payer portals.
- Handle CAQH maintenance, EFT/ERA enrollment, and payer portal setup.
- Track application status and follow up to resolve deficiencies or delays.
- Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance standards.
- Prepare credentialing status reports and performance metrics.
- Act as a point of contact for credentialing-related inquiries and escalations.





Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1-6+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment.
- Strong knowledge of credentialing and enrollment workflows.
- Experience with PECOS, CAQH, and payer portals.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience as an SME or Team Lead in credentialing.
- Experience working with U.S. healthcare providers or payers.
- Exposure to audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements.
- Credentialing certification (CPCS, CPMSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
