Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all Human Resource functions for our construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, training, HR administration, and supporting project sites. The candidate should have experience handling both office and site employees in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Handle end-to-end recruitment for corporate and project site positions.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and consultancies.
- Schedule interviews, negotiate salaries, and complete onboarding formalities.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

- Conduct employee induction and orientation programs.
- Maintain employee records and documentation.
- Process resignations, exit interviews, Full & Final settlements, and relieving documentation.

Payroll & Attendance

- Coordinate monthly payroll processing.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, and site attendance.
- Ensure timely salary processing and statutory deductions.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate statutory filings and maintain compliance records.
- Support labour inspections and audits.

Performance Management

- Coordinate probation confirmations and annual performance appraisals.
- Implement employee development and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist management in salary revision and promotion processes.

Employee Relations

- Address employee grievances and workplace issues.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.




- Maintain discipline and enforce company policies.

HR Administration

- Maintain HR policies, employee files, and MIS reports.
- Prepare monthly HR reports on manpower, attrition, recruitment, attendance, and payroll.
- Ensure HR documentation is complete and up to date.

Training & Development

- Identify training needs for office and site employees.
- Organize technical, safety, and behavioural training programs.
- Monitor employee skill development initiatives.

Site HR Management

- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and Project Heads on manpower planning.
- Conduct periodic visits to project sites.
- Ensure attendance, compliance, welfare, and employee discipline at project locations.

Required Qualifications

- MBA/MSW in Human Resources or a related field.
- 812 years of HR experience, preferably in the Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, or EPC industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Laws, PF, ESI, Payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in handling both corporate office and project site employees.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS/Payroll software.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in the construction, infrastructure, contracting, or EPC sector.
- Experience managing a workforce of both staff and labour across multiple project sites.
- Familiarity with contractor workforce management and statutory compliance.
