Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Project Manager to lead the execution of Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, CETP, projects. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in managing EPC/environmental infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, cost control, and client satisfaction. The position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant), Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, within the approved scope, budget, and timeline.
- Lead project execution activities, including engineering coordination, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, resource utilization, and project risks while implementing corrective actions as required.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Review project progress, prepare MIS reports, and provide regular updates to management and clients.
- Resolve technical and commercial issues arising during project execution and ensure timely decision-making.




- Manage project documentation, billing milestones, contract administration, and variation orders.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams to achieve operational excellence and project objectives.
- Ensure successful commissioning, performance guarantee testing, and final project closure.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or an MBA will be an added advantage.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in executing CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP/STP), projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from initiation to commissioning.
- Solid knowledge of project planning, contract management, quality assurance, HSE requirements, and project controls.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, MS Office, and project management tools will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel as per project requirements.
