Job Summary: We are looking for detail-oriented and analytical Business Analysts with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our team at TransOrg Analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Advanced Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, PySpark and Databricks. Exposure to ETL processes and Big Data technologies will be considered an added advantage.

This role is well suited for someone passionate about data-driven problem solving, visualization, and supporting business decisions. You will work closely with senior analysts and consultants to analyse datasets, build dashboards, create client-ready presentations, present reports to senior management, and generate insights and stakeholder management that help drive strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Handling & Validation

- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Work with datasets from multiple sources and identify relationships between tables to join data and extract meaningful values.
- Validate and monitor key business KPIs such as revenue, bookings, room nights, ARR, ATS, DAR, cancellations, customer counts, mappings, rate codes, and business classifications.
- Perform UAT checks, dashboard validations, data back-checks, and reconciliation across source data, marts, dashboards, and reports.
- Identify data gaps, mismatches, and quality issues, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

Reporting & Insights

- Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations for business stakeholders and senior management.
- Support YoY, MTD, YTD,



pre/post, cohort, brand, channel, campaign, loyalty, customer, and segment-level analysis.
- Convert data into transparent business insights, trends, observations, and leadership-ready summaries.
- Build insightful and visually clear dashboards and presentations to support business decision-making and present key reports to senior management.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

- Coordinate with marketing, analytics, data engineering, and internal teams for data requirements, validations, and delivery timelines.
- Track open items, blockers, ownership, dependencies, expected timelines, and closure status.
- Follow up on key workstreams and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Share regular progress updates and ensure accurate, timely delivery of analytics outputs.

Documentation & Process Management

- Maintain trackers, validation checklists, reusable templates, SQL scripts, and reporting formats.
- Standardize recurring processes to ensure smooth handover, scalability, and continuity.
- Support the team in maintaining clean documentation and structured project workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- 3 -5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelors degree in commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, dashboards, VBA macros).
- Strong skills in Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) and PySpark for data analysis and transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, joins, aggregations, validations, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on exposure to Databricks, Big Data technologies, and ETL/data pipeline concepts is an added advantage.

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written).
- Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
- Curiosity to continuously learn and grow in the analytics domain.
